Airlines today announced that from next December 11th will be operating a new flight service between the Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City and International Airport Sangster, Montego Bay. The airline had another connection to the Caribbean island’s capital, Kingston, so the news has been welcomed by the authorities.

“This new alliance with Copa Airlines will provide Latin American travelers an easy route to the heart of the capital of the resorts in Jamaica,” said John Lynch, Director of Tourism of Jamaica. “Panama City is a major gateway connecting flights throughout Central and South America. This new service provides joint benefits and increases the potential arrival of visitors to both destinations.
